In fact, some time ago while I was out visiting a client in a downtown San Diego high rise I encountered very sexy 30-something (closer to the Cougar side than the Puma) in a business suit with a skirt of course. Ladies if you don't know a woman dressed up in a tight business skirt is just as hot as a bikini clad siren. Something about the way those things compliment hips and backside just get me going! So I approached her in my shark suited and began to project my GQ vibe and she took the bait. But, something between that moment and when I actually decided to reach out to her went terribly wrong. She was apparently into some guy she just started dating and wanted to hook me up with her friend. So I did what any guy who actually values his time would do...I asked for a picture and this is what I got in response:
Deji:
Sure, I will work on getting a picture for you! But while I'm doing that, could you provide a few things for me?
- · A picture of you in front of your car
- · A recent Bank Statement
- · The value of your property
- · A copy of your credit report
Thanks!
Lol, clearly my mind was blown. All I was trying to do was see a picture of this woman before we wasted each others time but clearly a picture was not enough for the other party. As hilarious as this might be this brings up something real in regards to what men and women look for in a relationship. Most of the time they are very different things so take the time to find out what your partner or potential partner may want from you it may be the difference between a short relationship and a long one. Thanks for reading! Feel free to comment! Namaste!

... i dont know Deji. I understand the 2 years thing, because a relationship is an investment into another person and you assume that with time the bond tends to grow closer. So when someone steps out after a longer period of time, it hurts more because of how much investment has gone into that person and how close she assumed they were.
ReplyDeleteAs far as your little saga with the picture... sounds like a hooker disguised as a woman. tricks make it all bad.
OMG this is hilarious! I’m definitely feeling the fact that after 2 years you have a much stronger bond with someone and it would be much more devastating if they were to betray you like that. When you are in a serious relationship you are investing your time, money, heart and soul into the other person. It’s a partnership. If you partner in business F’s you over, you usually don’t even think twice about dealing with that person again. But when Love is involved, it’s a very different story. You have a connection and a bond with that person that you sometimes can’t even understand, I know I don’t. We were actually having that conversation last night :)
ReplyDeleteOn to the Cougs…I think that equity absolutely matters on both ends. If she couldn’t hold a conversation, hold her own at a party, or talk to you about the current state of the economy…ummm I’m pretty sure Deji would be OVER IT after 1 or 2 “visits” LOL Why am I at my desk CRACKING up right now. I think you have to be much more than a pretty face on both ends. You are eventually going to build a life and a future with someone. If their credit, bank accounts, etc are messed up beyond repair, you are attaching yourself to that…scary!
Thats funny dude...I mean if she was hot enough, then I would have rented a dope bentley for the picture, forge the bank statement and made it happen! lol
